Savanha Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting notes: Rich aromas of fresh berries and subtle hints of mint follo through to a lingering palate with a soft tannin structure.
Food pairing: Serve with spicy lamb casserole on a bed of fire-roasted Mediterranean vegetables.
Vinification: Grapes were handpicked at optimum ripeness, sorted, de-stemmed and gently crushed. The juice was chilled to10°C-12°C to enable cold maceration prior to fermantation in stainlessteel tanks. Daily pump-overs were conducted for optimum extraction of colour and flavour. Wines showing well-preserved fruit were selected for blending and fining. Sterile bottling took place after six months of maturation and integration.
